Living in a digital world, we forget to have our favourite memories printed out to keep and carry with us as everything is on our mobile phones. How many people do you know that have lost or broken their phone and lost all their precious memories? Mystical Moments wants to show you some ways you can use and store your photographs.
Photo albums and prints
The good old fashioned photo album of course is a must, yes they do take up space and there are risks of them being damaged but there's nothing better than sitting with your
favourite people flicking through memories they can hold in their hands. Have a couple of small prints inside your purse or wallet, you could even have one in the back of your phone for when your on the go.
CDs and hard drives
Storing your images on CDs and hard drives will ensure your images are kept safe and can still be easily viewed and copies can be made. Store these in cases and avoid dropping them.
Usb stick
Make copies and give your family and friends usb sticks to keep their images safe. From there, they can make copies and transfer the images as they please. This is a great way to ensure you always have a spare copies too.
Frames
Frame your photos and have them around the house, nothing can cheer us up more than a happy memory and a friendly face. You can buy singular frames or collage frames, you can look in any charity shop for these.
Magnets
If you prefer your walls clear or simply have no more room for memories, fridge magnets are a great way to liven up a plain fridge door.
Key rings
Carry a memory you cherish the most with a key ring. We cant always look at our phones at work or at school, college or university, having a key ring attached to our keys, bag or purse is a nice subtle way to give yourself the comfort you need from seeing that photograph.
Coasters, notepads and mugs
Anything can be customised these days, head over to your local printing shop or look online at ways to customise anything from a pen to a quilt cover.
Calendars and photobooks
Personalised calendars can be a great gift for someone you love or just a present for yourself, choose 12 of your favourite images and have 1 to look at every month. When you are finished with the calendar the images can always be cut out and framed. Some people find it tedious printing off photos and arranging them into an album, other just prefer a cleaner look. Designing a photo album online again can make a great gift or just something nice for yourself, add writing or backgrounds to each page and really make it personal.
Scrap Books/Memory box
If your a creative person you could always make a scrap book for your images and really get into putting your heart and soul into each page as you focus on each memory and express yourself with colour, texture and patterns. Create a box full of prints, tickets and receipts, stickers, flyers or items to keep one big memory in one little place.
Memories are so precious and losing them is heart breaking, try not to keep everything stored on your phone. Things break and sometimes cant be mended, don't let that be what happens to you.
