Top 10 Client Questions

Writer's picture: mystical moments photographymystical moments photography

Here at Mystical Moments Photography we often showcase what we can offer you. In this post we will focus on some of the questions our clients ask us and how we can answer them.

Below are 10 questions we get asked the most we hope you enjoy reading.

1. How much do you charge for...?

We offer a wide variety of packages listed on our website and we have tried our best to cover all bases within them. We try and keep our prices as low as we can but with the cost of living constantly rising you may see some very small alterations to the prices annually. If you have any questions about any of our packages please feel free to message us.

2. When do we have to pay?

We ask for a specified non refundable deposit to secure your date which will need to be paid within the week of you booking your date with us unless negotiated otherwise. Full payment will need to be made the week of your chosen date, if it is a wedding you will need have paid in full a month before you chosen date unless negotiated otherwise.

3. How do I get my images?

Your final images will be stored in a secured Pixie set online folder from which you can download each image as you please. You will be given a link to access these images which you can share with the family and your friends.

4. Will you come to my home?

Yes! We are happy to come to you, there's a choice of having what is called a home and lifestyle shoot, this is where we capture your family in your natural environment, making cupcakes, playing dinosaurs or a tickle fight on the bed. We can also set up a backdrop if you have a reasonable sized space and have posed images of your family against what ever type of backdrop you choose. We only have a limited selection of backdrops at the moment as we are still building up our inventory.

5. Will you provide us props?

We do have some props to choose from and we are working on an inventory list for our clients to choose which props they would like to use at their shoot. This wont cost anything to rent but we will ask for anything that is expensive and purposely broken to be replaced. For our spring shoot our client had their own props in mind and the results where beautiful.

6. How long does it take to edit the images?

Depending on the scale of the photoshoot you want will depend on how long the editing process will be. If you book in a family shoot for one hour, it will take us a maximum of 2 weeks to finalise all of your images, a 10 hour wedding may take up to a month and a fashion/lifestyle shoot could be around the same or slightly less. We take pride in our work so we like to make sure your images are perfect before we hand them over. We will send you proofs through Facebook and keep you updated on the editing process. All times are roughly estimated to avoid disappointment.

7. Will we get both of you at our shoot?

Yes, no matter what we will both be attending your shoot unless one of us is unwell. We both work side by side as a team to run the business as things run a lot smoother with the two of us. We both photograph and direct each shot as we want our clients to get their moneys worth whilst we photograph. Working as a team allows us to capture lots of amazing memories and express our creative side. We also like to capture families individually, whilst one of us works on photographing the little ones, the other will capture images of you and your partner or who ever you bring along with you.

8.Do you offer prints?

We will order any prints requested by you from our session although this will be an extra cost. You can order your own prints online using websites or apps. Wedding prints will depend on the package chosen by you. Details on wedding prints are listed with the packages.

9. How many images will I get and do I have to pay for them?

We are a company who do not believe in restricting what you pay for. Any images taken by us that are of a high quality will be edited an handed over to you. We do not ask for any extra money for images once the shoot is paid for so are all of your photos.

10. Do you help us pose?

We love directing and helping those who are unsure on how to behave in front of the camera. We do not like to force smiles, or anything you are not comfortable doing, our first suggestion is just to interact with each other and have fun.

Two candid images from our family sessions.

We hope this blog post has been helpful and we hope to hear from you soon! Have a mystical and magical day!
