Here's why two photographers are better than one.

What is already a long stressful day can be made more stressful by having a frantic photographer bustling around. They need to capture important beautiful candid shots of the bridal party having their hair and makeup done as well as, details of the room, capturing creative shots of shoes, dresses, flowers and wine glasses as well as some of the traditional details such as the garter being put on or the bride applying her makeup or adjusting her shoe. All of these shots and more can be taken with two photographers, making your day smooth with little to worry about.

Details like these can become important when the day is over and are easily forgotten, make sure this doesn't happen when it comes to your big day. Your hard earned money is being spent on your wedding day, you will regret not having it documented.

Not only can two photographers document the bridal party. Utilise both togs and send your other photographer to spend time with the groom and groomsmen as after all, the big day is one both of you would like to remember.

As the morning ends and the ceremony draws closer your photographer’s have several responsibilities they need to keep in mind. The most important factor for a photographer to consider is being present but keeping a low profile, almost fading into the background if you like.

The ceremony has to be the quietest and most serious part of the whole day so full concentration mode is needed in order to recite the vows and for the guests to listen to them. Having your photographer run around the venue attempting to capture all of the important images they need and trying to be as silent as a mouse at the same time can be extremely difficult. Make the entire process easier on yourself and your photographer, have two photographers planted in separate areas so they can take the time to capture every single moment carefully with minimal distractions.

Plus two photographers just means more amazing photographs of the big day that can be added to your wedding album! Now who wouldn’t want that?

Quickly after the ceremony photographs of the bride and groom need to be taken as well as the whole wedding party. Having two photographers working your wedding helps quickly and smoothly gather family members together for the final group shot as well as individual ones, after all two heads are better than one especially when it comes to remembering which family member needs a photo with which, or what members of the party cannot be in photographs for this reason (yes this happens a lot).

As you know when you get married a large number of guests can be invited and the venue can fill up quickly, this could leave little space for your photographer to move rapidly around the room. Crying, laughing and smiling faces can quickly fade and special moments pass to the next, but with two photographers these shots cannot be missed. One camera can work from the back of the room and the other can work from the front ensuring all smiles and speeches are captured.

As the evening moves on and the nerve wracking first dance creeps closer, your family and

friends will gather around you both to witness this treasured moment. Each face means something different to both the bride and the groom, having your guests documented whilst your and your partner indulge in the music and your love for one another can be a very special memory to be able to look back on.

As the night draws to an end, the cake has been cut and everyone is now letting loose with the alcoholic beverages. These are some of the best times to capture your loved ones true personalities and the time they are spending together. Guests tend to disperse and separate around the room, couples become physically closer to each other as the emotions of the day influence their love. It is usually the males who tend to congregate at the bar or outside in the smoking area and the ladies and children on the dance floor, the older guests are usually sat chatting to each other or maybe just on their own. There is no better time to have two photographers around capturing precious family moments that will only occur on that one day.

Overall having two photographers makes your day so much calmer as you know there will be no moments missed as a day such as your wedding day will never be replaced.

At Mystical Moment Photography we try our best as photographers to work with one another ensuring we are capturing the same images and barely leave each other’s side at important parts of the day, there are 3 reasons we do this.

1. Just in case one of us doesn't quite manage to capture the perfect shot of an important moment the other is guaranteed to catch it just right. 2. Technology is unreliable as memory cards can become damaged or be wiped clean, if this happens you have guaranteed back ups of all of the important parts of the day. 3. Knowing there is someone else capturing the same shots just reassures us that our clients are getting what they expect from us, making the whole day less tense within our role. #weddingphotography #wedding #photography #photographer #eventphotographer #mysticalmomentsphotography
